You are my sunshine, my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are grey You'll never know dear, how much I love you Please don't take my sunshine away Such lovely memories of Dad singing this - Mum, Lilian, always enjoyed him singing this song. He was always 'pitch perfect'. Harold was our 'ray of sunshine'. Harold was the very best second Dad I could have wished for. Along with being a very dear grandad and great grandad. We spent many happy hours together. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Mum and Harold had many happy years together, enjoying their love of travelling, And their various hobbies, gardening, bowling, dancing, Burhas Chapel and generally helping in the community with fund raising for charities high on the list. Dad loved gardening and was always pottering about. His runner beans were the best. There was always plenty of apples later in the season, for apple tarts, sauce, etc. They both enjoyed entertaining, and you always had to have a cup of tea and a piece of cake! We will miss you dear Harold, so very much. Love him always - Joy, Andy and family xxxx
